Ceramic Slip Casting in the Digital Age

As part of the Tasmeen Doha 2019 Art & Design Biennale, Atelier La Juntana and VCU Arts Qatar organized a one week workshop exploring the potential of slip casting ceramics in the age of digital fabrication. Participants were asked to design a vase using digital software which were then 3D printed and used as a master to create a number of copies in porcelain and terracotta. 

The extraordinary collection of vases produced was then exhibited as part of the Tasmeen Doha week in Qatar in March 2019.
